Ohio High School Volleyball - Oakwood over Franklin

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Oakwood Lumberjacks (Dayton, OH) and the host Franklin Wildcats (Franklin, OH), observed Oakwood's volleyball team top Franklin by a count of 3-1.

The Lumberjacks (14-6) will now prepare for their contest against Waynesville (Waynesville, OH). The Spartans enter the Southwestern Buckeye - Buckeye contest with a 11-9 record. In their last contest, Waynesville was knocked off by Batavia (Batavia, OH), 3-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Wildcats battle the Carlisle Indians (Carlisle, OH) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, October 8. Franklin will attempt to move on its 10-10 season record. The Indians enter the contest with a 7-12 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Preble Shawnee (Camden, OH).
