In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting St. Albans Red Dragons volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Gilmer County Titans.
The Red Dragons (9-17) will now prepare for their challenge against Roane County (Spencer, WV). The Raiders enter the non-league challenge with a 2-12 record. In their last challenge, Roane County was beaten by Doddridge County (West Union, WV), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Titans meet the Capital Cougars (Charleston, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 5. Gilmer County will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 8-12 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Buffalo (Buffalo, WV).
