Virginia High School Volleyball - Guardian Christian Academy can't get by Southwest Virginia Academy

The Southwest Virginia Academy Conquerors edged the host Guardian Christian Academy Royal Knights volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Conquerors confront the Lynchburg HomeSchool Patriots (Lynchburg, VA) in a VHSAA game, on Tuesday, October 8. Southwest Virginia Academy will attempt to advance on its 5-8 season record. The Patriots go into the game with a 11-5 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Faith Christian Academy (Hurt, VA).

The Royal Knights (8-11) will now prepare for their game against Banner Christian (Chesterfield, VA). The go into the non-league game with a 0-8 record. In their last game, Banner Christian was edged by Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot (Powhatan, VA), 3-0, in a league game.
