Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Harwood Highlanders (Moretown, VT) and the visiting Missisquoi Valley Thunderbirds (Swanton, VT), observed Harwood's volleyball team top Missisquoi Valley by a count of 3-0.
The Highlanders (9-2) will now prepare for their contest against Enosburg Falls (Enosburg Falls, VT). The Hornets enter the Northern contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Enosburg Falls notched a victory over Montpelier (Montpelier, VT), 3-1, in a league contest.
Next, the Thunderbirds battle the Lyndon Institute Vikings (Lyndon Center, VT) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, October 8. Missisquoi Valley will attempt to move on its 0-9 season record.
