Hutchinson Salthawks (Hutchinson, KS) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Salina Central Mustangs (Salina, KS), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Hutchinson improves its record to 11-11 on the season. The Salthawks travel to Newton (Newton, KS) to face the Railroaders in a non-league test on Saturday, October 5. The Railroaders go into the test with a record of 5-19. Newton lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Maize (Maize, KS)

The Mustangs now own a 6-18 record. They put it on the line next when they host Liberal for a non-league test on Saturday, October 5. Salina Central will face a Redskins squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Abilene (Abilene, KS). The Redskins record now stands at 1-19.
