The Washington Panthers topped the visiting Illinois Valley Central Grey Ghosts volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league game.
Next up, the Panthers face the Pekin Dragons (Pekin, IL) in a Mid-Illini game, on Tuesday, October 8. Washington will attempt to advance on its 15-6 season record. The Dragons go into the game with a 8-13 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Sherrard (Sherrard, IL).
The Grey Ghosts (13-10) will now prepare for their game against Princeton (Princeton, IL). The Tigers go into the non-league game with a 11-13 record. In their last game, Princeton went down by Tri-Valley (Downs, IL), 2-0, in a non-league game.
