In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Santa Cruz Cardinals volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Bethel Jaguars.

The Cardinals (10-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Rancho Cotate (Rohnert Park, CA). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 10-9 record. In their last challenge, Rancho Cotate beat St. Vincent de Paul (Petaluma, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Jaguars meet the Albany Cougars (Albany, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 5. Bethel will attempt to upgrade on its 16-6 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 14-9 record after their 3-0 league win over Hercules (Hercules, CA).
