The Lakeview Lakers volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Murray County Central Rebels to 1 in the Lakers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Lakers now have a 9-9 record. They play next when they travel to Lac qui Parle Valley for a Camden outing on Saturday, October 5. Lakeview will play a Eagles team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Russell-Tyler-Ruthton (Tyler, MN). The Eagles record now stands at 12-11.

With the loss, Murray County Central drops to 10-8 on the campaign. The Rebels host Pipestone (Pipestone, MN) to play the Arrows in a non-league outing on Monday, October 7. The Arrows come into the outing with a record of 3-24. Pipestone lost 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against MACCRAY (Clara City, MN)
