With the win, Ottumwa improves its record to 21-5 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Boone (Boone, IA) to face the Toreadors in a test on Saturday, October 5. The Toreadors go into the test with a record of 4-14. Boone lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Carlisle (Carlisle, IA)

The Hawks now own a 8-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Montezuma for a non-league test on Monday, October 7. Lynnville-Sully will face a Braves squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Iowa Valley (Marengo, IA). The Braves record now stands at 9-11.
