Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Maricopa Rams (Maricopa, AZ) and the visiting White River Hornets (Buckley, WA), observed Maricopa's volleyball team top White River by a tally of 2-0.
The Rams (17-12) will now prepare for their contest against South Salem (Salem, OR). The Saxons enter the non-league contest with a 11-3 record. In their last contest, South Salem beat Campbell Hall (North Hollywood, CA), 2-1, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Hornets meet the Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions (Glendale, AZ) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 5. White River will attempt to upgrade on its 13-5 season record. The Mountain Lions enter the contest with a 11-7 record after their 3-2 league win over Boulder Creek (Anthem, AZ).
