New Mexico High School Volleyball - Maryland School for the Deaf tips New Mexico School for the Deaf

The Maryland School for the Deaf Orioles (Frederick, MD) volleyball held off the host New Mexico School for the Deaf Roadrunners (Santa Fe, NM), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Orioles now possess a 18-5 record. They play next when they travel to Indiana School for the Deaf for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 5. Maryland School for the Deaf will clash with a Deaf Hoosiers team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over International (Indianapolis, IN). The Deaf Hoosiers record now stands at 14-5.

With the loss, New Mexico School for the Deaf drops to 10-1 on the campaign. The Roadrunners travel to Florida School for the Deaf & Blind (St. Augustine, FL) to clash with the Dragons in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 5. The Dragons come into the bout with a record of 4-8. Florida School for the Deaf & Blind lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against St. Joseph Academy (St. Augustine, FL)
