Nashua-Plainfield Huskies (Nashua, IA) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Waukon Indians (Waukon, IA), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Nashua-Plainfield improves its record to 9-8 on the season. The Huskies travel to Turkey Valley (Jackson Junction, IA) to face the Trojans in a test on Saturday, October 5. The Trojans go into the test with a record of 9-11. Turkey Valley lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against South Winneshiek (Calmar, IA)

The Indians now own a 16-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host New Hampton for a test on Tuesday, October 8. Waukon will face a Chickasaws squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Denver (Denver, IA). The Chickasaws record now stands at 12-12.
