The Plainsmen now possess a 21-5 record. They play next when they travel to Smith Center for a Mid-Continent bout on Thursday, October 10. Oakley will clash with a Redmen team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Nemaha Central (Seneca, KS). The Redmen record now stands at 9-15.

With the loss, Triplains/Brewster drops to 1-23 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Golden Plains (Rexford, KS) to clash with the Bulldogs in a Western Kansas Liberty bout on Tuesday, October 8. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 12-9. Golden Plains lost 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Rawlins County (Atwood, KS)
