In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Sulphur Golden Tors volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Warren Easton Fighting Eagles.
The Golden Tors (19-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Airline (Bossier City, LA). The Vikings come into the non-league challenge with a 8-12 record. In their last challenge, Airline beat West Monroe (West Monroe, LA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Fighting Eagles meet the McDonogh 35 Roneagles (New Orleans, LA) in a Division II District 9 challenge, on Monday, October 7. Warren Easton will attempt to upgrade on its 8-7 season record. The Roneagles come into the challenge with a 9-6 record after their 3-0 league loss to Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy (Kenner, LA).
