In Saturday's league challenge, the visiting Washburn Rural Blues volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Topeka Trojans.

The Blues (18-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Junction City (Junction City, KS). The Bluejays come into the Centennial challenge with a 7-9 record. In their last challenge, Junction City was beaten by Hays (Hays, KS), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Trojans meet the Independent Panthers (Wichita, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 10. Topeka will attempt to upgrade on its 11-12 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 8-13 record after their 2-0 league loss to Trinity Academy (Wichita, KS).
