In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host West Morgan Rebels volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Winston County Yellowjackets.

The Rebels (32-8) will now prepare for their challenge against East Lawrence (Trinity, AL). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 24-4 record. In their last challenge, East Lawrence edged Hackleburg (Hackleburg, AL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Yellowjackets meet the Lawrence County Red Devils (Moulton, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 8. Winston County will attempt to upgrade on its 19-6 season record. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a 29-16 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Phil Campbell (Phil Campbell, AL).
