In Sunday's non-league outing, the host Concord-Carlisle Patriots soccer squad scored a tight 4-1 victory over the Lexington Minutemen.
The Patriots (6-1) will now prepare for their bout against Waltham (Waltham, MA). The Hawks go into the non-league bout with a 3-5 record.
With the loss, Lexington moves to 3-3 on the year. The Minutemen host Stoneham (Stoneham, MA) to play the Spartans in a Middlesex bout on Wednesday, October 8. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 0-6. Stoneham lost 2-1 in their recent league bout against Watertown (Watertown, MA)
