The Perquimans Pirates volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Holmes Aces to 0 in the Pirates non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Pirates now possess a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Riverside-Martin for a game on Thursday, October 14. Perquimans will meet a Knights team coming off a 2-0 league win over North East Carolina Prep (Tarboro, NC). The Knights record now stands at 7-1.
The Aces (5-8) will now prepare for their game against Currituck County (Barco, NC). The Knights enter the game with a 12-3 record. In their last game, Currituck County defeated Manteo (Manteo, NC), 2-0, in a league game.
