The Ashland Blue Devils football team (Ashland, MS), was tipped 19-18 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Thrasher Rebels (Booneville, MS)

The Rebels (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Okolona (Okolona, MS). The Chieftains come into the 1A Region 1 challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, Okolona was tipped by Tupelo Christian Prep (Belden, MS), 14-12, in a league challenge.

The Blue Devils now sport a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tupelo Christian Prep for a 1A Region 1 challenge on Friday, October 14. Ashland will meet a Eagles team coming off a 14-12 league win over Okolona (Okolona, MS). The Eagles record now stands at 2-4.
