In Thursday's non-league game, the Granite Hills Eagles (El Cajon, CA) football team smashed the visiting El Capitan Vaqueros (Lakeside, CA), by a final score of 41-0.
The Eagles (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Grossmont (El Cajon, CA). The Foothillers come into the game with a 1-6 record. In their last game, Grossmont was trounced by Poway (Poway, CA), 39-0, in a non-league game.
The Vaqueros now hold a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Hills for a game on Thursday, October 27.
