The Anson Bearcats football team (Wadesboro, NC), was knocked off 8-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host Forest Hills Yellow Jackets (Marshville, NC)

The Yellow Jackets (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against West Stanly (Oakboro, NC). The Colts come into the non-league challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, West Stanly was knocked off by Parkwood (Monroe, NC), 34-20, in a non-league challenge.

The Bearcats now sport a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they host Parkwood for a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 20.
