In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Carson Cougars football squad scored a good 15-0 victory over the Northwest Cabarrus Trojans.
In their next game, the Cougars clash with the East Rowan Mustangs (Salisbury, NC) in a non-league match, on Thursday, October 13. Carson will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Mustangs enter the match with a 0-6 record after their 35-6 non-league loss to Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC).
The Trojans (2-6) will now prepare for their match against Concord (Concord, NC). The Spiders enter the non-league match with a 2-5 record. In their last match, Concord thwarted South Rowan (China Grove, NC), 16-6, in a non-league match.
