The Tunstall Trojans football team (Dry Fork, VA), was ripped 50-6 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting George Washington Eagles (Danville, VA)
The Eagles (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Halifax County (South Boston, VA). The Comets come into the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Halifax County was ripped by Magna Vista (Ridgeway, VA), 32-24, in a non-league challenge.
The Trojans now sport a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bassett for a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 13. Tunstall will meet a Bengals team coming off a 33-6 non-league win over Patrick County (Stuart, VA). The Bengals record now stands at 4-2.
