The Magna Vista Warriors (Ridgeway, VA) football defeated the host Halifax County Comets (South Boston, VA), 34-24 in Thursday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Warriors face the Martinsville Bulldogs (Martinsville, VA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, October 13. Magna Vista will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Bulldogs enter the bout with a 0-5 record after their 22-20 non-league loss to Chatham (Chatham, VA).
