North Carolina High School Football - Middle Creek held off by Panther Creek

In Thursday's non-league game, the Panther Creek Catamounts (Cary, NC) football team tipped the host Middle Creek Mustangs (Apex, NC), by a score of 28-21.

The Catamounts (3-4) will now prepare for their game against Green Level (Cary, NC). The Gators come into the non-league game with a 1-6 record. In their last game, Green Level was tipped by Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC), 19-8, in a non-league game.

The Mustangs now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Apex for a non-league game on Thursday, October 13. Middle Creek will battle a Cougars team coming off a 21-14 league win over Apex Friendship (Apex, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 6-1.
