In Thursday's league battle, the host Norfolk Academy Bulldogs volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Nansemond-Suffolk Academy Saints.

The Bulldogs (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Norfolk Christian (Norfolk, VA). The Ambassadors come into the battle with a 5-10 record. In their last battle, Norfolk Christian was edged by Greenbrier Christian Academy (Chesapeake, VA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Saints clash with the Cape Henry Collegiate Dolphins (Virginia Beach, VA) in a battle, on Tuesday, October 11. Nansemond-Suffolk Academy will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Dolphins enter the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 2-0 league win over Peninsula Catholic (Newport News, VA).
