Colorado High School Soccer - Basalt knocks off Moffat County

Basalt Longhorns (Basalt, CO) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Moffat County Bulldogs (Craig, CO), 11-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Longhorns confront the Gunnison Cowboys (Gunnison, CO) in a 3A/2A Western Slope challenge, on Saturday, October 8. Basalt will attempt to better on its 4-5 season record. The Cowboys enter the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 4-0 league loss to Coal Ridge (New Castle, CO).
The Bulldogs now have a 1-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Delta for a 3A/2A Western Slope challenge on Saturday, October 8. Moffat County will confront a Panthers team coming off a 6-0 league loss to Roaring Fork (Carbondale, CO). The Panthers record now stands at 1-7.
