Valley Regional Warriors (Deep River, CT) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the host Coginchaug Regional Blue Devils (Durham, CT), 4-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Warriors confront the Portland Highlanders (Portland, CT) in a Shoreline challenge, on Saturday, October 8. Valley Regional will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record. The Highlanders enter the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 4-0 league win over Westbrook (Westbrook, CT).

The Blue Devils now have a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Hampton for a Shoreline challenge on Monday, October 10. Coginchaug Regional will confront a Bellringers team coming off a 11-0 league win over North Branford (North Branford, CT). The Bellringers record now stands at 7-1.
