In Thursday's league battle, the visiting Freeport Falcons soccer squad scored a close 6-0 triumph over the Wells Warriors.
The Falcons (5-4) will now prepare for their battle against Yarmouth (Yarmouth, ME). The Clippers come into the Class B - South battle with a 8-1 record. In their last battle, Yarmouth was overwhelmed by Cape Elizabeth (Cape Elizabeth, ME), 3-0, in a league battle.
The Warriors (3-9) will now prepare for their battle against Poland (Poland, ME). The Knights come into the Class B - South battle with a 4-10 record. In their last battle, Poland nudged St. Dominic (Lewiston, ME), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
