The crowd at Thursday's league test between the Portland Highlanders (Portland, CT) and the visiting Westbrook Knights (Westbrook, CT), saw Portland's soccer squad beat Westbrook by a margin of 4-0.

The Highlanders now sport a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Valley Regional for a Shoreline test on Saturday, October 8. Portland will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 4-0 league win over Coginchaug Regional (Durham, CT). The Warriors record now stands at 3-6.

With the loss, Westbrook drops to 2-6 on the season. The Knights host Hale Ray (Moodus, CT) to meet the Noises in a Shoreline test on Tuesday, October 11. The Noises come into the test with a record of 0-8. Hale Ray lost 5-0 in their recent league test against Old Lyme (Old Lyme, CT)
