Bristow Pirates (Bristow, OK) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Grove Ridgerunners (Grove, OK), 6-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Pirates now sport a 24-10 record. They take the field next when they host Sallisaw for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 7. Bristow will face a Black Diamonds squad coming off a 5-3 non-league win over Bristow (Bristow, OK). The Black Diamonds record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Grove falls to 3-3 on the campaign.
