The University Hawks topped the visiting Achievement First volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's league test.
The Hawks now have a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Metropolitan Learning Center for a Capital Region test on Friday, October 7. University will confront a Dragons team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Bulkeley (Hartford, CT). The Dragons record now stands at 1-7.
The (0-6) will now prepare for their test against Classical Magnet (Hartford, CT). The Gladiators enter the non-league test with a 0-7 record. In their last test, Classical Magnet was knocked off by Academy of Aerospace and Engineering (Windsor, CT), 3-0, in a non-league test.
