The Challenger Firebirds volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host The Master's Academy Lions to 1 in the Firebirds league victory on Thursday.

The Firebirds now possess a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Haywood Christian Academy for a Western Piedmont Athletic game on Monday, October 10. Challenger will meet a Red Wolves team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy (Lincolnton, NC). The Red Wolves record now stands at 12-6.

The Lions (9-6) will now prepare for their game against Veritas Christian Academy (Arden, NC). The Warriors enter the Western Piedmont Athletic game with a 16-0 record.
