Nebraska High School Volleyball - Gibbon Elm Creek

The Elm Creek Buffaloes volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Gibbon Buffaloes to 1 in the Buffaloes non-league victory on Thursday.

The Buffaloes now possess a 4-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Twin Loup for a non-league game on Friday, October 7. Elm Creek will meet a Wolves team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Riverside (Cedar Rapids, NE). The Wolves record now stands at 16-7.

The Buffaloes (2-19) will now prepare for their game against Fullerton (Fullerton, NE). The Warriors enter the non-league game with a 13-2 record. In their last game, Fullerton defeated Palmer (Palmer, NE), 3-0, in a non-league game.

Match Summary

Girls came out tonight and played with heart. They played good defense and are starting to hustle more then we have been all season. We let our guard down and got a little too comfortable in the 3rd set. These girls stepped it back up in the 4th to get the win on the night. We celebrated our two seniors tonight, and it was great to get them a win.
