Kentucky High School Volleyball - Newport crushed by Highlands

The Highlands Bluebirds topped the visiting Newport Wildcats volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's league test.
The Bluebirds now have a 16-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Boone County for a non-league test on Monday, October 10. Highlands will confront a Rebels team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Conner (Hebron, KY). The Rebels record now stands at 8-22.
The Wildcats (7-17) will now prepare for their test against Bishop Brossart (Alexandria, KY). The Mustangs enter the non-league test with a 19-12 record. In their last test, Bishop Brossart gained a win over Newport Central Catholic (Newport, KY), 3-0, in a non-league test.
