In Thursday's non-league contest, the South Platte Blue Knights (Big Springs, NE) volleyball squad were winner over the host Hyannis Longhorns (Hyannis, NE), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Blue Knights battle the Arthur County Wolves (Arthur, NE) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, October 6. South Platte will attempt to better on its 9-13 season record. The Wolves go into the contest with a 9-11 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Leyton (Dalton, NE).

With the loss, Hyannis moves to 4-18 on the year. The Longhorns host Arthur County (Arthur, NE) to battle the Wolves in a D2 District 10 contest on Thursday, October 6.
