The Liberty Mountaineers topped the host Nicholas County Grizzlies volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Mountaineers now have a 16-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Robert C. Byrd for a Big Ten test on Thursday, October 13.

The Grizzlies (13-16) will now prepare for their test against Clay County (Clay, WV). The Panthers enter the non-league test with a 10-10 record.
