The Oxford Wolverines (Oxford, CT) volleyball nudged the host Naugatuck Greyhounds (Naugatuck, CT), 3-2 in Thursday's league outing.

With the win, Oxford betters its record to 5-5 on the year. The Wolverines travel to Wolcott (Wolcott, CT) to face the Eagles in a Naugatuck Valley outing on Friday, October 7. The Eagles go into the outing with a record of 4-5. Wolcott lost 3-2 in their recent league outing against Holy Cross (Waterbury, CT)

The Greyhounds now sport a 5-6 record. They play next when they host Waterbury Career Academy for a Naugatuck Valley outing on Friday, October 7. Naugatuck will face a Spartans squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Watertown (Watertown, CT). The Spartans record now stands at 7-4.
