With the win, Ottawa Hills upgrades its record to 1-8 on the year. The Bengals host Hastings (Hastings, MI) to play the Saxons in a non-league bout on Thursday, October 13. The Saxons go into the bout with a record of 5-2.

The Red Hawks now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Godwin for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 8. Union will play a Eagles squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Hermitage (Richmond, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 10-4.
