The Lackawanna Steelers football squad scored 28 points and restricted the host Akron Tigers to 7 in the Steelers non-league victory on Friday.
The Steelers now possess a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Olean for a Section 6 B - 3 battle on Friday, October 13. Lackawanna will play a Huskies squad coming off a 38-7 league loss to Griffith Institute (Springville, NY). The Huskies record now stands at 1-5.
Coming up next, the Tigers play the Eden/North Collins Raiders (Eden, NY) in a Section 6 C - North battle, on Friday, October 13. Akron will attempt to advance on its 2-4 season record.
