North Carolina High School Football - West Cabarrus topped by A.L. Brown

The West Cabarrus Wolverines football team (Concord, NC), was beaten 49-34 in Friday's league challenge with the host A.L. Brown Wonders (Kannapolis, NC)

The Wonders (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against South Iredell (Statesville, NC). The Vikings come into the 4A Greater Metro outing with a 2-5 record. In their last outing, South Iredell went down by Mooresville (Mooresville, NC), 45-0, in a league outing.

With the loss, West Cabarrus moves to 1-7 on the season. The Wolverines host Mooresville (Mooresville, NC) to encounter the Blue Devils in a 4A Greater Metro outing on Friday, October 13. The Blue Devils go into the outing with a record of 7-0. Mooresville won 45-0 in their recent league outing against South Iredell (Statesville, NC)
