    The Mt. Enterprise Wildcats football squad scored 54 points and limited the visiting Alto Yellowjackets to 28 in the Wildcats league win on Friday.

    The Wildcats now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Overton for a 2A-2 Region III District 11 battle on Friday, October 13. Mt. Enterprise will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 42-21 league win over Cushing (Cushing, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-0.

    Coming up next, the Yellowjackets play the Tenaha Tigers (Tenaha, TX) in a 2A-2 Region III District 11 battle, on Friday, October 13. Alto will attempt to advance on its 0-6 season record. The Tigers go into the battle with a 4-2 record after their 47-30 league win over Carlisle (Price, TX).
