Texas High School Football - Andrews overwhelms Lake View

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Andrews Mustangs (Andrews, TX) and the host Lake View Chiefs (San Angelo, TX), observed Andrews's football squad bounce Lake View by a count of 63-7.

The Mustangs now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Estacado for a 4A-1 Region I District 2 contest on Friday, October 13. Andrews will play a Matadors squad coming off a 49-14 non-league win over Sweetwater (Sweetwater, TX). The Matadors record now stands at 5-1.

Coming up next, the Chiefs play the Brownwood Lions (Brownwood, TX) in a 4A-1 Region I District 2 contest, on Friday, October 13. Lake View will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Lions go into the contest with a 6-1 record after their 56-7 league win over Big Spring (Big Spring, TX).
