The Archbishop Murphy Wildcats football team (Everett, WA), was tipped 28-21 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Lynden Lions (Lynden, WA)
The Lions (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Burlington-Edison (Burlington, WA). The Tigers come into the 2A Northwest challenge with a 0-5 record. In their last challenge, Burlington-Edison was tipped by Sedro-Woolley (Sedro-Woolley, WA), 48-0, in a league challenge.
The Wildcats now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sehome for a 2A Northwest challenge on Friday, October 13. Archbishop Murphy will meet a Mariners team coming off a 35-9 league loss to Anacortes (Anacortes, WA). The Mariners record now stands at 3-3.
