In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Cathedral Panthers football squad scored a good 20-12 victory over the Archbishop Williams Bishops.
In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Bishop Stang Spartans (North Dartmouth, MA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, October 14. Cathedral will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Spartans enter the match with a 1-5 record after their 16-14 league loss to St. Mary's (Lynn, MA).
The Bishops (3-3) will now prepare for their match against Bishop Fenwick (Peabody, MA). The Crusaders enter the Catholic Central test with a 4-1 record. In their last test, Bishop Fenwick was dropped by Cardinal Spellman (Brockton, MA), 28-14, in a league test.
