Nebraska High School Football - Axtell smashes Deshler

October 6, 2023: Axtell, NE 68924

The Axtell Wildcats (Axtell, NE) football routed the visiting Deshler Dragons (Deshler, NE), 69-20 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Wildcats face the Kenesaw Blue Devils (Kenesaw, NE) in a D2 District 6 (8 Man) bout, on Friday, October 13. Axtell will attempt to move on its 5-2 season record. The Blue Devils enter the bout with a 4-3 record after their 36-24 league win over Blue Hill (Blue Hill, NE).

The Dragons (1-6) will now prepare for their bout against Lawrence-Nelson (Nelson, NE). The Raiders enter the D2 District 6 (8 Man) bout with a 5-2 record. In their last bout, Lawrence-Nelson walloped Silver Lake (Roseland, NE), 76-44, in a league bout.
