The Monroe Central Seminoles football team (Woodsfield, OH), was ripped 48-0 in Friday's league challenge with the host Barnesville Shamrocks (Barnesville, OH)

The Shamrocks (8-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Shenandoah (Sarahsville, OH). The Zeps come into the non-league challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, Shenandoah was ripped by River (Hannibal, OH), 28-24, in a non-league challenge.

The Seminoles now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Frontier for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 13. Monroe Central will meet a Cougars team coming off a 21-20 non-league win over Magnolia (New Martinsville, WV). The Cougars record now stands at 1-7.
