The Bath County Wildcats football team (Owingsville, KY), was ripped 40-6 in Friday's league challenge with the host West Carter Comets (Olive Hill, KY)

The Comets (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Fleming County (Flemingsburg, KY). The Panthers come into the 3A District 6 challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Fleming County was ripped by East Carter (Grayson, KY), 19-15, in a league challenge.

The Wildcats now sport a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they host Russell for a 3A District 6 challenge on Friday, October 13. Bath County will meet a Red Devils team coming off a 38-14 league win over Lewis County (Vanceburg, KY). The Red Devils record now stands at 5-3.
