Mississippi High School Football - Clarkdale drops to Bay Springs

In Friday's league game, the Bay Springs Bulldogs (Bay Springs, MS) football team knocked off the visiting Clarkdale Bulldogs (Meridian, MS), by a final score of 43-20.

The Bulldogs (6-1) will now prepare for their game against Newton (Newton, MS). The Tigers come into the 2A Region 5 game with a 0-7 record. In their last game, Newton was dropped by Lake (Lake, MS), 24-12, in a league game.

The Bulldogs now hold a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Scott Central for a 2A Region 5 game on Friday, October 13. Clarkdale will battle a Rebels team coming off a 24-14 non-league win over Seminary (Seminary, MS). The Rebels record now stands at 4-3.
