In Friday's league match, the visiting DeKalb Barons football squad scored a good 38-14 victory over the Bellmont Braves.

In their next game, the Barons clash with the Leo Lions (Leo, IN) in a Northeast 8 match, on Friday, October 13. DeKalb will attempt to move on its 5-3 season record. The Lions enter the match with a 6-2 record after their 51-7 league win over Columbia City (Columbia City, IN).
